The Digital Technology Exhibition of Paintings in the Shiqu Baoji (Catalog of Treasures of the Stone Canal Pavilion) of the Palace Museum showcases dozens of famous calligraphy and painting works recorded in the Shiqu Baoji. These works span nearly two thousand years from the Wei and Jin dynasties to the Qing dynasty in China. They are restored at a 1:1 scale, and some of the selected works are digitally and immersively interpreted, enabling the audience to have a cultural dialogue with the ancients that transcends time and space. The exhibition is divided into five areas in total: Unrolling the Scrolls, Admiring the Mountains, Bathing the Horses, Appreciating the Flowers, and Attending the Banquet. It gives a multi-dimensional interpretation of classic paintings in the categories of landscape paintings, flower-and-bird paintings, paintings of beasts, and figure paintings.
