The China National Arts and Crafts Museum was established in 1990. It is a public welfare institution of Class I affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It focuses on collecting and exhibiting fine works of Chinese arts and crafts and displaying representative intangible cultural heritage items. It is the first national-level arts and crafts museum in China, gathering the most outstanding precious (collected) works of contemporary Chinese arts and crafts. During the Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit (Guimao), the atmosphere of celebration and harmony permeated everywhere. Upholding the tenet of inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, the China National Arts and Crafts Museum launched more exhibitions during the important traditional Chinese festival, the Spring Festival. Through digital upgrades, it brought the arts and crafts and diverse intangible cultural heritages to life, adding luster to the Spring Festival. For this exhibition upgrade, Diheng Projection is honored to participate as an equipment manufacturer and work together with partners to ensure the implementation of the project.  

The new exhibition technologies and methods further enrich the cultural experience of the audience. The "Splendid Cultural Heritage: The Basic Exhibition of Chinese Arts and Crafts" covers an exhibition area of more than 6,000 square meters and showcases nearly 700 exhibits. By using technologies such as new media interaction, projection mapping, holographic imaging, integrated diffraction patterns, and augmented reality, it integrates culture, art, technology, and fashion, and passionately tells the immortal imprints and legendary stories of Chinese arts and crafts.

As the project was approaching the end of the year, many workers had already returned to their hometowns, which made it impossible for the project to proceed normally, let alone be implemented before the Lunar New Year. In order to complete this project on time and offer it as a gift for the Spring Festival, Diheng Projection and its partners took great pains to coordinate resources from all parties. They tried every means possible to expedite the construction during the Spring Festival holiday and carried out the installation and debugging for the client. In the end, the project was successfully completed before the Spring Festival when most people were on vacation, presenting a gift to the people across the country with practical actions.  

Digital technology can assist museums in their collection and display work, and the digital development of museums also helps to clarify the complete development context of the exhibits.
