Kites originated in China, which is currently the unanimously recognized conclusion in the global kite community. According to records, Chinese kites were introduced from China to Malaysia and then passed on to New Zealand via Hawaii; they were introduced to Russia via Mongolia; and they were introduced to Europe via the Silk Road or the Indian Ocean shipping route. Around the 12th century AD, kites were gradually spread to all parts of the world. After kites were introduced to various countries around the world, they merged with the customs and cultures of each country, giving rise to kite cultures with distinct regional characteristics.

Bear & Bad, located in Kulai District, Malaysia, is the first kite and illusion theme museum that combines traditional Malaysian kites with modern projection technology. The projection equipment and technology in the museum are provided by Diheng China. The Bear & Bad theme museum has its own comics and bears, as well as six themed pavilions, namely the Kite Pavilion, the Fluorescent Painting Pavilion, the Colored Lights Pavilion, the Dinosaur Museum, the Ice and Snow Museum, and the Immersive Space Museum. Due to the strict local anti-epidemic measures in Malaysia, it took more than two years to complete the construction and debugging of the immersive exhibition items in the museum. Good things are never too late. This year, the Bear & Bad theme museum finally opened grandly.

Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and culturally diverse country. The love for kites and the recognition of kite culture among various ethnic groups have, to a certain extent, narrowed the distance between them and enhanced the friendship among different ethnic groups. However, it is never an easy task to inherit every traditional craftsmanship, and the traditional craftsmanship of kite-making in Malaysia is also facing the dilemma of inheritance. With the development and progress of the times, an increasing number of games have emerged. Apart from the craftsmen who adhere to and pass on the traditional craftsmanship of kite-making, the younger generation nowadays has less and less understanding and love for kites.

Therefore, the Malaysian government actively supports the inheritance and promotion of kite-making techniques and calls on the public to jointly protect and inherit the kite culture. Responding to this call is also the original intention of the Bear & Bad theme museum. Inside the museum, projections are combined with traditional Malay kites to create a variety of more interesting mini-games, allowing children to learn while playing, understand the kite culture during the learning process, and develop a fondness for the exquisitely crafted Malay kites.

When multiple Diheng laser projectors are integrated, their color performances are similar, avoiding the need for repeated adjustments. Even if they are far away in Malaysia, Diheng's technical engineers can provide remote guidance for debugging. The products are of high quality, and there is no need to worry about after-sales service. The immersive exhibition items presented by Diheng laser projectors in combination with kites have rich and vivid color expressions. Scenes such as origami cranes, seas of flowers, and dancing butterflies are vividly displayed, winning unanimous praise from both adults and children. It has also awakened many people's warm and beautiful memories of kite games in their childhood.

From those legends full of beautiful hopes to the symbol of cultural inheritance today, as a witness of the times, the kite carries the Malay people's yearning for freedom and beauty. Diheng China is honored to contribute to the inheritance of the traditional craftsmanship of kites.
