On August 8th, Diheng officially launched three newly upgraded products of the Neptune series into the market - the DU7070, SH-DU7600, and SH-DU8650.
One of the highlights of this Neptune series is the upgrade of the lens flange architecture of professional engineering projectors. This design makes lens replacement more convenient, which not only enhances the user experience but also provides convenience for users to quickly adapt in specific application scenarios. At the same time, the new Neptune series of Diheng has added an optional telephoto lens with a focal length range of 2.9-5.5 on the original basis, increasing the upper limit of lens adaptation and offering new possibilities for the exploration of applications in exhibition halls and outdoor projections.
Both the SH-DU7600 and SH-DU8650 models are equipped with Diheng's exclusive BIC 2.0 technology. The introduction of BIC 2.0 technology simplifies and enhances the efficiency of projection fusion. Without the need for complex wiring connections, simply laying network cables and projector power cables enables the fusion of up to 252 projectors, truly ensuring worry-free long-distance transmission.
The three new models of the Neptune series are all positioned in the professional engineering projector market, and they adopt a more stable optical engine architecture design and a telecentric optical architecture design. Compared with the non-telecentric optical architecture, this design performs excellently in terms of color uniformity and brightness uniformity, providing stronger consistency for large-screen fusion. In addition, all three models are equipped with a 0.67DMD chip and DLP projection technology, with a resolution of WUXGA, which enables them to reach a new height in terms of image quality and clarity.
In energy-saving mode, it can even reach 30,000 hours and supports 7x24-hour uninterrupted operation. This not only greatly reduces the maintenance cost but also improves the reliability and stability of the projector. The ISO brightness of the three models is 7,000 lumens, 7,600 lumens and 8,650 lumens respectively. These three models can meet the usage requirements of different exhibition halls and occasions. Whether it is a small conference room or a large exhibition hall, Diheng's Neptune series can easily cope with it, providing users with clear and bright visual effects.
In terms of the light source, all three models adopt the latest generation MCL laser light source from Nichia. The lifespan of the light source is as long as 20,000 hours. In addition to the above-mentioned upgrades in basic performance, Diheng's Neptune series is also equipped with a number of innovative functions, enabling users to be more proficient and comfortable during the usage process. Among them, the introduction of the Overglaze Color Mode brings a brand-new experience for color calibration. Through high-standard color calibration technology, this mode can present magnificent color image quality, making the pictures more vivid and realistic.
In addition, in terms of signal transmission, all three models support ultra-low latency transmission. Most of the competing products on the market have latency issues ranging from 40 to 60 milliseconds, while Diheng's Neptune series can achieve an ultra-low latency performance of 16.3 milliseconds. This performance advantage makes the Neptune series perform particularly well in scenarios with extremely high latency requirements, such as virtual simulation, track cinemas, and projection fusion. In terms of interfaces, all three models are equipped with 2 HDMI 2.0 interfaces and a 3D SYNC synchronization interface. At the same time, since the SH-DU7600 and SH-DU8650 are equipped with BIC 2.0 technology, the functions of remote control and cloud management have been realized. This also enables the LAN port to be used not only for the network control of the projector but also for BIC connection control.
The advantages of BIC 2.0 technology are also reflected in its diverse fusion functions and convenient debugging experience. In terms of geometric calibration, BIC 2.0 technology achieves a calibration accuracy of 40x40 and supports adjustments in three dimensions: points, lines, and planes. This function brings great convenience to users during the debugging process. At the same time, the form of "cut first and then fuse" also enables users to enjoy higher image clarity and smaller pixel loss when fusing multiple projectors.
In addition to their powerful basic functions, the SH-DU7600 and SH-DU8650 are also equipped with numerous creative functions, bringing users a richer visual experience. The device lock function allows users to set the usage time of the device. Once the set time is up, the device will automatically lock. This function is especially suitable for scenarios such as project leasing. At the same time, due to the installation of the CAT1 chip, these two models also have the function of remotely locking the device, further enhancing the security of the equipment.
Both the SH-DU7600 and SH-DU8650 have the function of sending codes through the serial port. For unattended environments, they also have the timing plan function. They can control the on/off of peripheral devices and other operations by sending serial port commands at regular intervals, thus achieving intelligent reverse control of peripheral devices.
