The DU21K is positioned as a professional engineering projector and adopts a more stable optical engine architecture design and telecentric optical architecture design. This design enables the projected image to perform excellently in terms of color uniformity and brightness uniformity, which is more conducive to the consistent performance of large-screen fusion. Whether indoors or outdoors, it can bring us clear and stable projection effects. At the same time, its central brightness is as high as 21,000 lumens, and it can present stunningly large images even in occasions such as outdoor cultural tourism projects, city wall shows, and water screen projections.
In terms of image quality performance, the DU21K also spares no effort. It adopts DLP projection technology and is equipped with a more advanced 0.96-inch DMD chip. Compared with a 0.67-inch DMD, it can carry more luminous flux. This makes the projected image more delicate and vivid, with richer details. At the same time, it also supports 4K signal input and 120Hz high refresh rate input, ensuring that every frame of the image is clear and smooth.
The machine also has built-in pure hardware fusion. The width of the fusion zone supports adjustable settings from 0% to 50%, and fusion can be set on all four sides, namely the upper, lower, left, and right sides. After the width of the fusion zone is set, the image will undergo an automatic smoothing algorithm, eliminating the need for complex settings of the gamma curve. This automatic smoothing algorithm is superior to those in the market, and for multiple projectors, the transition in the processing of the fusion zone is more natural.
In terms of color performance, the DU21K still performs excellently. It supports HDR display technology, which can retain the details of both the darker and brighter parts when transmitting high-dynamic images or videos, restoring the true image quality. Coupled with the dynamic black and extreme black modes, the contrast can be further enhanced, making the visual effects even more stunning.
In order to meet the requirements of projection transmission and control in different application scenarios, the Lyra DU21K is equipped with a complete interface system. It includes various interfaces such as 3G-SDI, DP, HDBaseT, 3D SYNC IN/OUT, etc., and supports the access and transmission of multiple signal sources. Among them, the standard HDBaseT interface can remotely receive HDMI, RS232C, and network control signals through network cables of Category 5 or above, enabling long-distance transmission of up to 100 meters.
In addition to supporting the traditional active and passive 3D functions of a single projector, the DU21K also supports the Blending 3D function. That is, when four projectors are in the blending situation, 3D synchronization can be achieved through the 3D sync interface to ensure that the blended images of multiple projectors are synchronously displayed when switching between the left and right eyes. In addition, it also supports the 3D Warping function, which makes the projected image fit the curved screen more closely and brings us a more realistic 3D experience.
The 3D Warping function benefits from the powerful calibration function of the machine. In terms of the calibration function, in addition to the trapezoidal calibration and four-corner calibration of traditional machines, the machine is equipped with an Ichips professional image processing chip, enabling the machine to have grid point calibrations such as 2*2, 3*3, 5*5, 9*9, 17*17, etc. At the same time, it is possible to select whether to turn on the center point of the grid points for geometric calibration. By adjusting, a single curved surface image can be achieved. In order to reduce the impact of geometric calibration on image distortion, a curvature adjustment function after geometric calibration has also been designed.
The DU21K can also handle projection environments with high brightness and high heat with ease. Its structural and heat dissipation designs have fully taken these factors into account, ensuring stable operation even in harsh environments.
